How to Get Boulder Badge in Pokemon Infinite Fusion ?

The Boulder Badge in the Pokemon Infinite Fusion game is the very first badge. When you can earn after defeating Brock, a gym leader, of Pewter City. Earning this badge enables you to apply Flash outside of battle and assures any traded Pokemon up to level 20 will obey you.

It is the official start of your gym challenge in the Kanto area. This badge is also familiar from the original Pokemon games’ Generation 1 (Gen 1), making it a memorable experience for long-time players.

Route 1 (Pallet Town to Viridian City)

Route One connects Pallet Town to Viridian City. On this route, you will receive a potion from a PokéMart employee. You will also battle Lass Mimi, who has a Pidgey. In Viridian City, you need to complete the following tasks:

  • First, go to the PokeCenter to heal your Pokemon.
  • Then, go to the PokéMart to pick up Professor Oak’s parcel and receive a DNA Splicer.
  • After delivering the parcel, you will receive 5 Poké Balls and a Pokédex. This will unlock the northern road of Viridian City.
  • Talking to Oak’s male assistant will get you two extra Poke Balls.

Optional Tasks in Viridian City

  • Trade a Spearow (found on Route 22) with a youngster in the PokeCenter for a Bellsprout.
  • Buy items like Poke Balls, Potions, and DNA Splicers from the Poke Mart.

Route 22 (Optional)

  • West of Viridian City is Route 22.
  • Now battle your rival here to unlock the Secret Garden.
  • You may fight two youngsters on the route to earn free items.
  • Here, you can collect items: two potions, a Pecha Berry, and berries from bushes that regrow daily at midnight.
  • If you approach the Pokemon League gate, the guard will stop you, saying you need all eight Gym Badges.

Secret Garden (Optional)

  • Located on Route 1, south of Viridian City. Access it by walking into a specific tile near the tree wall.
  • This area is unlocked after defeating the rival on Route 22.
  • Collect valuable items: 6 potions, 4 revives, 1 super potion, and 1 max revive.
  • Catch rare Pokémon also that are otherwise available much later in the game.

Route 2 (Before Viridian Forest)

  • After the old man left, the path north of Viridian City is now open.
  • This short route has patches of tall grass with wild Pokemon.
  • Now walk to the north to enter the Viridian Forest.

Viridian Forest

  • This is the habitat of Bug-type Pokémon and several trainers.
  • In this forest some trainers will trade their Pokémon after you defeat them, while others will offer rematches, with their Pokémon leveling up and evolving over time.
  • Now collect items: 3 Pecha Berries hidden behind a Potion on the west side of the forest.
  • You can check the mushrooms and spiderwebs every day. They reset at midnight. These can give random items or trigger wild encounters with Paras or Spinarak.
  •  The forest path goes in a circle, and the exit is in the top-left corner.
  • Route 2 (After Viridian Forest)
  • This section has more tall grass where you can catch Pokémon, like a Poliwag if you don’t already have a Water-type.
  • Now travel north to reach Pewter City.

Pewter City

Visit the PokeCenter, which has three useful options on the second floor:

  1. Move Reminder—For a nominal cost, you can learn forgotten movements again.
  2. Wonder Trade—Trade Pokémon using tickets to receive random Pokemon.
  3. Update Man—Fix game bugs or adjust settings (for advanced users).

Rent a room at the hotel on the ground floor to pass time and catch Pokémon that appear at specific times of day. Accept quests from the hotel’s patrons on the second floor. The questmaster keeps track of your progress and gives rewards.

Other Activities in Pewter City:

  • Trade a Mankey (found on Route 22) with a youngster in the PokeCenter for a Tyrogue.
  • To obtain a Repel, speak with the elderly man located west of the PokeCenter.
  • After defeating the Gym Leader, talk to the hiker in front of the museum to receive a Black Flute.

Museum:

Inside, you’ll find a Fossil Restoration Machine, which becomes usable after obtaining the Thunder Badge.

Pewter City Gym

  • This is your first gym visit. Brock, the Gym Leader, prefers Rock-type Pokemon.
  • At the entrance, a man gives you fresh water and explains basic gym info.
  • There are two trainers in the gym. You can skip one, but battling both provides good experience and money.

Brock’s Battle

  • Before battling, you must select two Pokemon from your team to use in the fight.
  • After defeating Brock, you will receive
  1. The Boulder Badge
  2. TM39 Rock Tomb
  3. A Wonder Trade Ticket

Final Reward (Boulder Badge)

Finally, after you have earned the Boulder Badge, now talk to the hiker outside the museum to get a Black Flute immediately. Visit on Pinterest.
